Make overnight oats with HumaniTea

Overnight oats have become increasingly popular recently for many reasons. They are mostly healthy (depending on which ingredients you want to use), they are tasty, they are quick and easy to make, and they are filling!

They are especially great for busy people who may not have time to make breakfast in the morning, as these oats are made the night before. This gives the oats time to soak in the milk or water, and absorb it. Then the next day, you can add yoghurt, syrup, chocolate, fruit, or anything you want to make it your own!

Here at HumaniTea we have been asked by a few Instagram followers to make overnight oats using our products, so we have created two recipes using our delicious vegan tea lattes. You can also view our Tik Tok of our Matcha recipe here and the Earl Grey one here.

Matcha overnight oats (healthy, serves one)

Ingredients:

How to make- the night before:

  • Measure out 50g of porridge oats and transfer to a bowl
  • Grab a can of HumaniTea Matcha Tea Latte and pour out 100ml, or just under half the can into the bowl with the oats
  • Put into the fridge overnight

The next day…

  • Get the bowl out of the fridge and stir the oat mix. Top up with more Matcha Tea Latte if the mix is too dry
  • Grab a handful of raspberries and mix it with the oats until they are squashed. Transfer this into a jar
  • Boil a kettle, and scoop two spoonfuls of peanut butter into a small dish
  • Once the kettle is boiled, pour the water into a bowl and place the dish with peanut butter on top of the bowl
  • Stir the peanut butter until it is melted, and add this to the top of the oat mix
  • Top with another handful of raspberries- and enjoy!
